Heyward-Washington House Slave Dwellings Presentation

Charleston is a city full of history and Joseph McGill is coming to tell you about the slave dwellings.  The Heyward-Washington House is hosting Mr. McGill and presenting this project to create awareness to the preservation of these historic sights.  Mr. McGill is a Field officer for the National Trust for Historic Preservation and will be speaking and giving tours of the house's grounds.  The whole family will learn and have fun as they are lead through the 1740's brick structured kitchen that was once home to slaves wells.  Heyward-Washington House,  360 Meet St.  Friday, 6pm.  $10 adults; $5 children; three and under free.  (843) 722-2996, www.charlestonmuseum.org
