Event Details

Death of Paris formed from the breakup of Blake Arambula and Jayne Doyle's former band. Deciding to salvage their artistic relationship, the electropop group, from Columbia, merged with with three other members  and worked on selecting a name that stood for something. After having had enough with the lack of respect and chivalry in relationships, in fact they felt like it had died, they decided to name their band after this death and used Paris, the city of romance, to symbolize their sadness over this loss. Check out their tribute to love and respect through the upbeat sounds and energetic melodies as they make their way to Charleston. The Sparrow, 1078 E. Montague Ave., North Charleston. Wednesday, 9pm. Free. (843)744-7753, www.deathofparis.bandcamp.com
