Southern cooking is unlike any other and needs to be shared with the world not just with recipes but with history.  The book Cornbread Nation 6 has been anticipated by many for its impressive collaborations of Southern food writings put together by Brett Anderson.  Composing his book of six chapter that range from "menu items" to "southern drinkways", this is a book you won't want to put down.  Filled with history and the moderation that have taken place in the Southern food world to make it what it is today.  At this book signing there will of course be actual cornbread to enjoy made by Chef Sean Brock.  Heirloom Book Company, 123 King Street.  Saturday, 3-5pm.
