Event Details

Stevie Wonder has been serenading the nation since the early 1950's with hits such as "Superstition" and "Sir Duke", the self-proclaimed "architect of Rock and Roll", Little Richard brought us the loud and raspy voice behind "Good Golly Miss Molly" and "Tutti Frutti", and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Al Green asks you to "stay together" in the smooth tunes of his 1972 hit. Enjoy a new twist on these artists's classics as well as many many more as the Charleston Jazz Orchestra brings you their version of soul in an evening devoted to rhythm and blues. Don't miss this swingin' concert! Charleston Music Hall, 37 John St. Saturday, Set 1 at 7pm; Set 2 at 10pm. $40-$25. (843) 641-0011, www.thejac.org
