Step into the Charleston Museum this year for a blast from fashions passed, an originial exhibit showcasing fashion and fine garments from the 1770s to the 1970s. Travel back in time as you enjoy this glamourous display of real haute couture pieces. View elegant women's clothing worn by notable Charlestonian famillies, such as the Manigaults and the Middletons,  in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Enjoy creative men's styles worn by Charleston's Thomas Pinckney, Giovanni Sottile, Louis Manigault, and Congressman Mendel Rivers. And view beautiful designs from Mariano Fortuny and Charles Frederick Worth worn in the early 1900s by fashionistas. Don't miss the chance to see how Charleston's finest dressed in decades past in this fun and exciting special fashion exhibit.
