While one critic compares New York City chef Paul Liebrandt to a “pianist who has found a dozen extra keys,” another says his food is “the result of a failed science experiment.” With dishes such as “eel, violets, and chocolate,” his menu is undoubtedly eccentric. Catch a documentary shedding light on the chef’s creative process, as well as the cutthroat world of haute cuisine.
