Photographs of dead objects never seemed so alive as local artist Tanya Boggs showcases her latest exhibit, “Re: incarnation.” Using organic materials from deceased animals such as bones or even whole bodies, Boggs shows us her spin on life and death in the form of photography. “On the surface my art appears to be about death, but when you spend some time with it, it really has more to do with life,” says Boggs. Paula Rubino: Sea Change

This never before seen, unique exhibit features 30 oil paintings by artist Paula Rubino. Though completed while she was working and living in Florence, Italy with her family in the summer of 2013, Rubino drew inspiration from the watery environs of her East Coast home. In his exhibit the oil painter, who studied at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, and trained with Odd Nerdrum in Norway, showcases her myriad influences and travels.
