YESCarolina is a non-profit organization that promotes entrepreneurial education at the middle and high school levels across South Carolina. YESCarolina believes that empowering children with business skills will help break the cycle of poverty.  To that end, YESCarolina trains public school teachers in an entrepreneurial curriculum so they may educate their students on starting and running their own businesses.  To date, YESCarolina has trained over 500 public school teachers in South Carolina.  YESCarolina also provides "Biz Camps" -- a two week comprehensive summer school course where students develop a product or service, draft a business plan, address financing, develop a marketing strategy and resolve a host of other issues needed to bring their business to market.  YESCarolina is preparing today’s youth to be tomorrow’s business owners and business leaders.
