Calling all Palmetto State cyclists: think you have the endurance to take on a 252-mile race from Simpsonville to Charleston? The 10th annual ride, broken up over three days, supports the fight against Alzheimer’s. In order to participate, cyclists must contribute a minimum $750 donation to the cause. As of press time, the organization has raised more than $300,000 to assist the Alzheimer’s Association in their mission to eliminate the disease, care for those affected, and promote brain health with the hopes of reducing the risk of dementia.
